Alltmedan vi satt där och pratade så började det ljusna ute och till slut så var det nästan sol så vi bestämde oss för att ta Muir Woods först och sedan åka till Sunnyvale och titta lite på Fry´s samt Gilroy.
Sagt och gjort vi drog iväg till Muir woods.När vi närmade oss uppför de slingriga vägarna så började det regna, perfekt. När vi kom fram så var det uppehåll och undertiden vi gick där så blev det riktigt fin sol. Vi lyckades med att tajma det så bra att en guidad tur började precis när vi kom så vi fick höra lite om träden och dess historia. Turen inklusive våran egen sightseeing i skogen gick på en dryg timme och var en riktig upplevelse.
Efter detta så tog vi Highway 1 ned mot San Francisco igen, lika krokigt som i fredags här också. Nu åker vi mot Sunnyvale, solen skiner och fåglarna kvittrar...nähä fanns det inte några fåglar i bilen. Jaja fint väder var det iallafall.
Vi hittar Fry's och fan...stängt :( Jag tog kort på det så att man såg att jag varit där ;)
Nu var dom hungriga...igen. Vi hade ju nyss ätit frukost(hemma) och muffin i Muir Woods. Vi åt på McDonalds...smakade precis som hemma men bra mycket mindre hamburgare än hemma.
Vi åkte vidare till Gilroy's, ett köpcentrum med masssor av märkeskläder samt några enstaka roliga affärer. Jag gick i en leksaksaffär som var skräp, vi handlade en väska på Samsonite, kollade in på Levis där Erika och Hans hittade kläder men inte jag.
Sedan vi körde vidare till Sonybutiken och tittade lite och hittade en dator en Sony Vaio av mindre modell som jag blev väldigt sugen på, sedan stängde dom!! odågor!
Nu skulle vi hitta hem men tänkte försöka att inte åka motorvägen.
Vi åkte in och tittade lite i Silcon Valley...coolt. Vi åkte sedan via Highway 82, El Camino Real där det fanns matställen och annat hela vägen till San francisco och det är väl 10 mil eller så. Vi åkte genom olika städer hela tiden och i varje stad hade de en gata som heter Brodway. När vi kom till en ny Brodway så visste vi att vi kommit till en ny stad. Städerna låg så tätt att de hade växt ihop och det fanns inget som avgränsade dem mot varandra.
Nu skulle de äta....igen
Vi åt på en Pizzeria i Palo Alto...igen. Det är 6:e gången vi åker förbi palo Alto sedan vi kom hit det måste vara Californias centrum ;)
Vidare hemmåt så hände det inte mycket men bredvid vägen norr om Palo Alto så hade de träd som var misstänkt lika Redwood träd.
Det var när vi kom in i SanFrancisco som cirkusen började, det blev köra i fel fil, byta fil i korsningar, stanna vid grönt, köra vid rött. Parkera vid STOPP men vi kom hem till slut OCH jag har körkortet kvar.
I morgon är det osäkert vad vi gör men som det ser ut just nu så kommer vi att kolla in lite saker och affärer som vi missat nere i stan. Vi skall nog till Japanese Tea Garden och Museum of Asian art. Det kommer säkert att ta några timmar. Hoppas på sol och varmt väder.
